Another January transfer “season” has started and it’s been very interesting from its beginning. Premier League clubs spent more than 185 million £ during the last January transfer period and is expected they’ll spend even more this January.

Manchester United is working to complete a deal for Benfica’s Victor Lindelof worth 38 million £.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has already revealed he will look to spend all 60 million £ the received from Oscar’s move to China. Also Chelsea Izzy Brown signs the loan for Huddersfield Town on a six-month deal.

The West Ham Slaven Bilic has confirmed his interest in Brentford striker Scott Hogan. Brentford wants 15 million £ for their striker but West Ham is unwilling to pay such sum and prefer a structured deal.

Liverpool is on the verge of offloading defender Tiago Ilori to Reading in a 3.75 million £ deal. Should the deal go through, the Reds would secure a marginal profit on Ilori, who cost them 3.5 million £ from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2013 in a deal which potentially could have risen to 7 million £.

According to Jose Mourinho Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay are ni longer wanted in Manchester United. Both midfielders have been told they can leave the club so their futures remain unresolved for now in this month’s transfer period.
